A little about me: I'm just a girl from New Orleans who loves great smelling candles (and perfume, and makeup, and things that sparkle, but I digress)! As a child my mama (Jazzy J!) would clean the entire house, cook a great meal, and light scented candles....and everything just felt...right.
My mama definitely inspired my love of candles; however, I grew tired of buying candles only to be disappointed in the scent throw. One day in 2008, I embarked on the journey of learning the craft of candle making. After many hours of research, test burns, and scent combination testing, I believe I have created an awesome formulation for creating wonderfully potent scented candles. I initially shared my candles with friends and family and from there a beloved collection of customers emerged who were so enthusiastic over my candles that I was actually driven to create a real business. With the help of my husband and kids we've turned a passion for great candles into a small family business,
Unfortunately, in late 2020, my mama was diagnosed with cancer, and I slowly stepped away candle making. Though she did not win her battle, I have been inspired to return to candle making (I would love to go on about how I can almost hear the descriptive words she'd tell me for staying away for so long, but I'll just say...) it's for sure what she would have wanted!
